Twas The night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house Everyone was freezing even the mouse The stockings were hung by the chimney with care In hopes that a Boru stove would soon be there The children were perished and froze to the bed While dreams of a woodburner entered their head And dad in his coat and mum in her cap Had just settled in for a perishing nap Then out on the lawn arose such a bang I looked out the window and saw a Boru Stoves van The driver was huge and he wore a red suit And the passenger he had only one tooth They entered the house with a box on their back With all of their tools in a big red bag They finished their work as quick as a flash And left through the door with a small bag of trash We jumped out of bed and down the big stairs We went through the kitchen and around the chairs We went into the next room over by the alcove There perched on its throne sat a Boru Stove It was crackling and glowing as I sat on my seat It had natural convection aswell as radiant heat The house was warm for the first time in years I was so happy I almost shed tears My Boru Stove burns coal and wood I stand back in awe like anyone should Have a warm and wonderful Christmas from all the BoruStoves team!

Finally good news for the new year we are delighted to announce the launch of our Boru 600 Inset. It has a whopping 10kw of heat which is distributed through its natural convection chamber. Finally an Irish made inset stove for the larger fireplace.

We have just launched the Carraig Mor 30 kw stove. We have had a lot of enquiries for a bigger stove. It has an automatic damper system and tertiary air for a cleaner burn. It has the capability of heating up to 20 radiators and the hot water. With its overnight burn system you can be sure of never being cold again.

It is also available with optional central air intake (outside air) and is a multi fuel stove.

Just thought I would put up a few details on the Doras Firefront. It is proving to be a massive success. Even when the fire is not lighting the Doras is still saving you money from heat loss up the chimney. It has an amazing airwash system which helps keep the glass spotlessly clean. It can be retro fitted to most fireplaces with a flat back panel. The bottom line is The Doras will save you money on fuel consumption which is great news in tough economic times and it won't break the bank either!! They are proving very popular in both the Irish and UK markets

We are just back from the ploughing championships where we had the Boru Stoves road show. Thousands of people voiced there opinions and saw the Boru range on live display. We thought this would be the best place to launch the new Carraig Mor 30kw boiler with enough output to heat up to 20 single radiators and the hot water we also launched a new range of Boru accessories including log holders canopies and plynths. Look out for the Boru road show coming to a town near you soon!!

Double sided boiler model stoves

Excellent news for anyone looking for a double sided stove. The Carraig Mor stove is available in double single and double double options. It is now also available with different canopies and colours. The most exciting thing for us is that we have now developed a boiler option to heat up to 8 radiators and the hot water making our stoves one of the few if not the only double sided to have an integrated boiler. This for us is a great achievement and a major breakthrough for the stove industry. All our double sided stoves are also available with central air intake (outside air)

This week saw us despatch our first batch of coloured stoves. We did a couple of Chieftain boilers in Red. They look really good (but i would say that) but they really did. We have also sold some Fiachras in cream, Red, Silver and even one in brown.
Also we have changed handles on the stoves to a more substantial one (customer feed back) If you have any thoughts or comments let me know dermot@borustoves.ie

Boru Stoves 50 jobs

Its been a few weeks since myself and the team came back from the fireplace and stove exhibition in Harrogate WOW what a reaction to our stoves. We have been making stoves since February now and it is really hectic between r&d, testing and sales.
We now have six stoves in the shops 2 boiler models and 4 non boilers. Last week I got a couple of minutes airtime on RTE 1 when I announced 50 new jobs in Tipp over the next 2 years. So thanks for all the support and thanks for buying my stoves
